Graduates of SCU’s Bachelor in Big Data Analytics and AI (S.Kom) program will be equipped with competencies in solving problems that require data analysis and applying modern machine learning algorithms. A strong foundation of this program is predictive data analysis, ranging from discovering patterns and correlations in data to making predictions and estimating their accuracy. They will learn the main concepts related to Big Data storage and analytics, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision making and security issues that arise in various fields.
The required depth component is a hallmark of all undergraduate degrees in the new generation. Through General Education, students will also receive a character education course. Students are expected to select a variety of topics outside the main disciplines, exploring the multidisciplinary knowledge and abilities that serve as the foundation for developing both the hard and soft skills required for their bright future.
Students can complete the course and fulfill the accreditation standards outlined by the Big Data Analytics and AI professional associations. After earning the degree, graduates have the option of continuing on to graduate school for global professional or research-related studies. Graduates can also work as data analysts. The data analyst is a high-profile problem-solver who utilizes advanced tools of mathematical analysis, statistical and data modeling, and optimization to develop cost-effective and efficient decisions. This profession is considered to be one of the best jobs internationally.
