Overview Visual Interactive Design

The Bachelor of Visual Interactive Design (S.Ds) at SCU equips students with thorough and individualized teaching in the technical abilities, creative approaches, and business ethics required to address client-based visual communication issues.

The abilities and expertise required to develop interactive design systems for responsive websites, mobile devices, and social media will receive special attention. Students can learn the skills they need to create digital media for new technologies, such as the internet, kiosks, point-of-purchase displays, interactive maps, tablets, broadcast TV and film graphics, and mobile devices, through this curriculum.

Graduates are prepared to pursue advanced degrees in a variety of related fields or to find employment in creative occupations as corporate in-house, independent, or agency interaction designers.

As part of their overall education, students will also sign up for General Education course on character development. In order to learn more about themselves and the many skills and information that serve as the foundation for constructing their human identities, students choose from a variety of topics outside of the major academic fields.

The course can be used by students to meet the accreditation requirements set by recognized design bodies. Graduate choices after receiving the degree include beginning a job right away, taking an honors year, or pursuing graduate work in a field of professional or scientific interest.
