The Symbol of Soegijapranata Catholic University is regulated in Statuta Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata number: 066 PER/YS/05/VII/2013.

Soegijapranata Catholic University has a symbol in the form of a curved triangle, that is a jasmine flower which symbolizes the purity and personality of Indonesia with three leaves which symbolize the three functions of Soegijapranata Catholic University, as a scientific, educational and service institution; jasmine buds which signify Soegijapranata Catholic University's willingness to keep improving; the cross represents Spiritual principles; the silhouette of the bishop's crown represents Mgr. Albertus Soegijapranata whose name is made everlasting as the university’s name and whose struggle is continued at Soegijapranata Catholic University; triangles in the form of flower stalks symbolizing Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi; the picture of the book symbolizes the love for truth embodied in the development of science and technology; the circle of foundation symbolizes the eternal continuity from one generation to another; the base in the form of five peaks symbolizes Pancasila; black color means eternity and immortality; yellow means authority and glory, white means nobility and purity.
