Overview International Accounting

Graduates of International Accounting program at SCU are equipped with the information and practical abilities required to comprehend and participate in international business and multinational corporate. The program also helps students get the most out of their professional careers and prepares them for further graduate study.

Globalization has increased international trade, fueled by the willingness of governments to open up local economies to foreign investors. Accounting Undergraduate Program of Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU) is qualified with an “A” rank accreditation by National Accreditation Board for over 20 years. Committed to deliver the best study option for future accountant, Accounting Department SCU offers a new program, i.e. International Accounting that complement core accounting basic skills with international exposure.

In addition to student exchange or study abroad programs, students will take the ACCA qualification exam to obtain certificates. The ACCA Qualification is the world leading accountancy qualification for aspiring financial professionals – providing students with the skills, knowledge and values to have successful careers and lead the organizations they work with into the future.

Students will also enroll in a General Education course on character development as part of their overall education. Students select a range of topics outside of the main academic disciplines in order to learn about themselves and the numerous abilities and knowledge that provide the foundation for creating their human identities.
